On October 31, my student "authors" are going to celebrate writing by having an "Open Mic Day" in our classroom. They are going to share their fiction tales. They have been working and thinking to make their stories the best. I told my students what "Open Mic Night" was like for me . . . the nervous stomach . . .the butterflies . . . but we had so much fun. We are inviting all families and friends.
